Nicholas' street by street voter reg database was extremely useful for meeting voters face-to-face, and was always up to date with the Sec. of State's latest releases. Much more complete than the information on Trump47's Campaign Sidekick app. Knowing all registered voters at any given address, and knowing their voting records since 2016 made it much easier to target our most likely voters, reach out to everyone at a given address rather than only a subset, and avoid walking into traps.

The WeDoThatCampaigns.com software was invaluable to many Washoe County Precinct Captains during Election Year 2024. This software by far excels in utility over other brands, Campaign Sidekick, and Turning Point specifically, in door-to-door canvassing.
The software is not cellphone based, meaning that users can easily record and retain encounters with voters with ease. The software allows users to update information, such as vacant homes, voters change in residency with immediate effect.
The software developer, the incomparable Nicholas St Jon, updates voter data from the Secretary of State's voter rolls database every day during election season, so that users have updated voter information timely.
Precinct Captains can print out street lists, which disclose voter name, address, party, voting records going back 6 years, and make notes about personal encounters for future reference.

I've been looking for a foolproof system for campaigning in the field giving us all the information needed per home in our precinct. Over the years, I have been so disappointed and delayed by misinformation. WDT is so much easier to use, especially for door-to-door canvassing. The person at the home gives the correct information and then electronically corrects the information so we can pass that on to the RoV office. Nicholas St. Jon gives our responses daily during voting, so it is more up-to-date. Precinct Leaders and affiliates in the field have found so many errors. I'm hoping more counties and states can make use of this in the field.

As a candidate, one of the most important campaigning methods is knocking doors. When I was a candidate, I used several different door knocking methods, including Sidekick and TPAction. The information on Nicholas' WeDoThatCampaigns' software was the best one I used. I liked how the precincts were broken down to streets. It was the most accurate and easiest to use. I was also able to leave notes on the individual addresses in his system. The information was updated regularly, so I did not waste time going to an address of someone who had moved. And if I did find a voter had moved, I could easily make a note of it.
